Pocket 4 comprises two speculative warehouse buildings strategically located in close proximity to Durban’s harbour, purpose-designed to support the efficient handling of high-volume containerised logistics. Robust planning prioritises operational flow, with strengthened external yards engineered to accommodate heavy handling equipment and stacked containers. Delivered entirely through remote collaboration during the global Covid-19 lockdowns, the project stands as a testament to resilient design processes and adaptability in an unprecedented period.
